Wok and rolling around the world

Television chefs are today’s A-list celebrities; cooking shows on TV are ratings winners and cook books are going off the shelves like, well, hot cakes.

So little wonder that travel operators are offering new foodie trails.

Australia’s STA Travel has cooked up a package that includes a round the world flight stopping in Thailand, India, France, Italy and Spain, with 1-day cooking classes in Chiang Mai, Delhi, Rome, Paris and Barcelona

Bookings and travel are available until December 31.

Other menu options are a 5-day Pizza Making Course in Sorrento, an 8-day Greek Cooking & Language course in Poros, and a 4-day Cooking & Wine-tasting course in Granada, Spain.

Bon appetit!
