Woman arrested after allegedly punching easyJet pilot in the face
A woman was arrested after she allegedly punched the captain in the face as she was forced to leave an easyJet flight for bad behaviour.
The 25-year-old passenger was on flight EZY1973 from Manchester to Paphos when she was marched off the plane for displaying ‘abusive and threatening behaviour’.
According to reports in the Manchester Evening News, as she left the plane she turned on the pilot and punched him in the face.
The flight was delayed for two hours as a result of the incident.
EasyJet said: "The safety and wellbeing of passengers and crew is always easyJet’s priority.
"Whilst such incidents are rare we take them very seriously, do not tolerate abusive or threatening behaviour on-board and always push for prosecution."
