Woman faces criminal charge after mid-flight drama
Passengers on a British Airways’ flight to Boston restrained a woman after she allegedly tried to open one of the exit doors mid-air.
The woman, who is believed to be in her 30s, was arrested when the flight landed at Logan International Airport.
Authorities said the incident on Flight 213, which had departed Heathrow at 11.57 yesterday, was ‘a case of unruly behaviour’ and there was no known connection to terrorism.
The woman, they said, was ‘apparently intoxicated’ and is likely to face a criminal charge of interfering with a flight crew.
