Wonder of the Seas to sail from China
Royal Caribbean’s newest Oasis-class ship will head for China.
Wonder of the Seas, the fifth Oasis-Class ship, will debut in March 2022 and will be based in Shanghai and Hong Kong.
It will offer four to nine-night cruises in East and Southeast Asia from March to early 2023.
Planned port calls include Vietnam, Busan and Jeju, South Korea; Japan; and Taipei.
Until November 2022, the ship will sail round trip from Shanghai to Japan and then from Hong Kong, through January 2023.
"China continues to be one of the most important parts of the world for Royal Caribbean," said Michael Bayley, President and CEO, Royal Caribbean International.
Reservations are now open.
The mega liner has capacity for nearly 7,000 guests with 18 decks featuring eight ‘neighbourhoods.’
These include a Youth Zone, Royal Promenade, Central Park, Boardwalk and a new Suite Neighborhood exclusive to suite guests.
