World Green Tourism targets high returns
Different names, different tags but all have a single core objective – high returns through environmentally and financially responsible investment says World Green Tourism.
The first of its kind event is to be held in Abu Dhabi 22-24 November 2010.
A very high number of speakers have been lined up – some 40 in total, including many top global sustainable tourism names.
Speakers include: Bruce Poon Tip, of GAP adventures, Jonathan Tourtellot, of National Geographic Luigi Cabrini, UN World Tourism Organisation, James Hogan,of Etihad Airways, Gerald Lawless,of Jumeirah Group, Ahmed Al Nuaimi of Qatar Tourism Authority, Jurgen Ringbeck of Booz and co, Prof. Neil Kirkpatrick, of Royal Group, UAE, Matthias Leisinger, of Kuoni Group, Professor Harold Goodwin, of International Centre for Responsible Tourism, Nikki White, of the Association of British Travel Agents, Faith Taylor, of Wyndham Worldwide, Lelei LeLaulu of ISDC, Arnfinn Oines, of Six Senses Resorts and Spas, Gopinath Parayil, of The Blue Yonder, JP Bergkvist,of Sleepwell, Niels Eirik Nertun, of SAS Group, Stephen Farrant of International Tourism Partnership and Geoffrey Lipman.
The meeting will include opportunities for site visits, workshops, seminars and round tables.
