Worldspan offers more powerful tool
Worldspan, L. P introduced a new technology offering that it called “a more powerful, highly advanced strategic tool for complete travel management.”
The expanded edition of Worldspan Trip Manager XE has been reengineered with enhanced capabilities, increased efficiencies and a new graphical user interface to achieve further cost savings.
Said Mike Parks, senior vice president and general manager – Worldwide Travel Distribution for Worldspan:
“Only TripManager XE offers the self-service benefits and cost savings ability of Worldspan Rapid Reprice, which coupled with the advanced .NET platform and more efficient graphical user interface, greatly enhances a company’s capacity to increase traveler satisfaction and reduce total travel costs.”
The system offers reduced costs of up to 20% a year, he added.
Worldspan moved Trip Manager XE to the .NET platform, which enables corporations to transparently integrate this end-to-end, self-booking travel management solution with existing business systems via the internet.
Worldspan officials say the enhancements are easily accessible through a redesigned and easy-to-navigate- user interface. The system also offers more flexibility for travelers changing their plans.
