Atlanta-based luxury agent Century Travel has been acquired by fellow Virtuoso agency Worldview Travel.

No purchase price was disclosed for the deal which finalized earlier this month.

"The entire Century team is excited to have new parents who can offer us many industry leading innovations as we continue to grow and prosper. We evaluated our future growth options and easily made the decision that Worldview could offer us the best future for our advisors," said Century Travel founder Gene Lashley.

Century Travel has annual sales of more than $50 million with a staff of more than 70.

"We have long admired the talent and the expertise at Century Travel and know how highly regarded their executive team is. We are delighted to welcome them to our burgeoning Worldview Travel family," said Mike Dawson, chairman of Worldview.

Toronto based Worldview is the second largest Virtuoso agency with sales in excess of $500 million.

The company said Lashley and fellow executives Belinda Crews and Peter Lloyd will continue to oversee operations at Century Travel.
