Wotif.com expands Malaysian team
KUALA LUMPUR – Wotif.com (www.wotif.com), the specialist in discounted last-minute accommodation, has strengthened its Malaysian team with the appointment of KL-ite, Cherry Ho, as a market executive for Malaysia.
Cherry’s appointment increases Wotif.com’s Malaysian team to five members and will help further establish the company’s presence in the local online accommodation industry.
With a focus on educating Wotif.com’s Malaysian hotel partners of the benefits of being listed on the site, Ho aims to maintain the company’s existing partnerships, introduce new properties to the site and provide great deals for consumers wanting to book accommodation in Malaysia.
Commenting on her appointment, she said, “By helping hotel partners understand the impact that being listed on Wotif.com will have on their sales, I hope to help them achieve some great results and in-turn provide value-packed deals for our consumers.”
Prior to joining Wotif.com, Cherry worked within the online accommodation industry for more than six years and before that gained over 10 years experience working in hotels with her most recent position being the director of sales, corporate office, Park Plaza International in Kuala Lumpur.
