SHANGHAI – Specialist in discounted last-minute accommodation, Wotif.com has boosted its Asian team with the appointment of a Shanghai local, Phoebe Xu, as a market executive for Mainland China.

Xu will focus on working with Wotif.com’s properties in the south-eastern and southern regions of China as well as introducing more hotels in these regions to the service.

Wotif.com said Xu would focus on educating hotels on the positive impact of listing on Wotif.com, “not only through Australian and New Zealand bookings but also through intra Asia bookings”.

Wotif.com manager of North Asian markets Camille Lu said, “Wotif.com is growing rapidly in the North Asian market in terms of sales and in terms of the number of hotels listed.”
