Wyndham introducing TRYP brand to New Zealand
Wyndham Hotels & Resorts is set to launch the TRYP by Wyndham brand in New Zealand.
It unveiled new hotels slated for Queenstown and Wellington.
Under development with Wyndham’s long-time NZ partner Safari Group, construction of the 76-room TRYP by Wyndham Tory Street Wellington will begin next year ahead of a 2022 opening.
The hotel will have a 1920’s art deco theme and feature a fitness room, a rooftop deck and spa, and conference space.
TRYP by Wyndham Remarkables Park Queenstown is expected to open in 2023 with 212 rooms and serviced apartments.
It forms part of the mixed-use development precinct Remarkables Park.
"Not only will these hotels stand out from the crowd and appeal to a new generation of travellers, they’ll make the perfect complement to our established Ramada by Wyndham and Wyndham Garden hotels in the country," said Andy Flaig, Vice President, Business Development, South East Asia and Pacific Rim.
Wyndham’s collaboration with Safari Group includes the LQ Hotel by Wyndham Remarkables Park Queenstown, which will mark the debut of the La Quinta by Wyndham brand in New Zealand.
