Wyndham launches ‘go meet’ rewards for meeting planners

Wyndham Hotel Group has launched a new loyalty program for meeting planners called ‘go meet.’

Announced at the IMEX America 2015 meetings industry event in Las Vegas, go meet offers Wyndham Rewards members one point for every dollar spent on certain revenue at hotels regardless of how the bill is paid for.

Wyndham said there is no minimum spend required and no upper limit on points earned per transaction.

It is the first program of its kind to offer a flat 15,000-point free night redemption rate and the only one in the industry that gives 1,000 points with every qualified stay, a Wyndham statement said.

"The rising demand for group and meetings travel, coupled with an industry full of complicated rewards programs, gives us a unique opportunity to deliver more value and gain planners’ trust, business and loyalty," said Geoff Ballotti, Wyndham Group CEO.

"With go meet, we’re recognizing planners around the world for their partnership, hard work and the business they bring to our hotels."

Ballotti says it is targeted at both professional high volume meeting planners and casual planners and group leaders.
