Wyndham names new Southeast Asia development chief
Wyndham Hotels & Resorts has named Andy Flaig as its new head of development – South East Asia and Pacific Rim.
Flaig joins the company after a long career in hospitality.
He was most recently group chief development officer at Next Story Group, overseeing the hotel and co-working brands, and was previously EVP, development and technical services for Asia Pacific at Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group.
Flaig takes over from David Wray and will be based in Singapore.
"South East Asia and Pacific Rim is a dynamic region and home to emerging markets like Vietnam and Myanmar that are starting to attract tourists in unprecedented numbers. I am excited to lead Wyndham’s development strategy in the region," Flaig said.
