Yasawa Island Resort and Spa half price for agents
Yasawa Island Resort and Spa is celebrating the opening of its new Baravi Spa with heavily discounted industry rates, giving travel agents and their partners a chance to indulge in one of Fiji’s most luxurious hideaways.
Bure suites at the idyllic resort are available for A$382 per couple per night, including all meals and most activities, with the rate at less than half normal price and available until March 31, 2007, except between December 20 and January 20.
Agents also receive free transfer flights between Nadi and Yasawa Island (partner flies at normal rate).
Yasawa Island Resort is hidden on one of the most remote and unspoilt islands in Fiji, with just 18 luxury bures among the palms on a stretch of pristine white beach.
The resort was this year named Most Excellent Romantic Hideaway in the prestigious Condé Nast Johansens awards for 2006.
Earlier this month Yasawa opened Fiji’s first beachfront spa on the sands of its unspoilt island. The Baravi Spa draws its name from the Fijian word for beach and has been carefully constructed in a blend of traditional and contemporary styles, just metres from the ocean’s edge.
Its signature massage, the Baravi Rhythm, is performed by two synchronised therapists, working in rhythm with the sound of the waves.
*Agent rates are subject to conditions and availability. Includes taxes, all meals, non alcoholic beverages and all activities except spa treatments, scuba diving and game fishing.
