For hoteliers big and small, the TripAdvisor site, with its potential to make or break a business, can strike fear into their hearts.
But the social media giant has announced today that it is to host a masterclass on how to get the best from the site, tap into its 40 million unique users and get more bookings.
The classes, aimed directly at hospitality property owners and marketers, will be held on November 2 in London and on November 4 in Manchester.
The class will include advice from Visit London and Marketing Manchester plus experts from TripAdvisor who will talk about best practices in online hospitality marketing.
Topics up for debate include enhancing your listing, increasing direct booking traffic, improving your own site with TripAdvisor tools and policing your online brand reputation.
Those interested can register from today by going to http://www.tripadvisormasterclass.com/England/
President of TripAdvisor for business Christine Petersen said: “TripAdvisor master classes offer hospitality professionals tested strategies for reaching more customers, increasing bookings and managing a brand’s online reputation. These events offer a great opportunity to meet with industry leaders and discuss marketing solutions to today’s most pressing business challenges.”
The London session will be held at the Park Plaza Westminster Bridge and the Manchester session will be hosted by the Midland Hotel. Both are in two programmes, starting at 9am and 12.30pm.
