Luxury line Seabourn is offering a varied line-up of Asia cruises for the late 2024 and 2025 cruise seasons. From December 2024 to March 2025, and again in November 2025, Seabourn Encore and Seabourn Quest will sail across Southeast Asia, including Singapore, Vietnam and Thailand, and to Japan. Seabourn Encore will begin with seven sailings between Singapore and Hong Kong, then continue to Japan, and finish with a transpacific crossing. The conclusion of the crossing marks the ship’s first-ever visit to the United States. Seabourn Quest will explore Japan during the cherry blossom season in spring and return in the fall to showcase autumn landscapes. It will visit new destinations such as Akita and Wakayama, Japan. "Our ultra-luxury Asia cruises continue to be a favorite among our guests," said Natalya Leahy, president of Seabourn. "To meet the growing demand, we've enhanced our itineraries this season and are offering many exciting voyages throughout Asia to new destinations." Seabourn Encore's winter 2024 and spring 2025 season will sail to Vietnam, Thailand, Cambodia, and the Philippines. From December 2024 to March 2025, the ship will start its season of seven voyages between Singapore and Hong Kong, with both 13-day and 14-day options. The ship will finish its season with a 25-day Japan & Hawaiian Islands Pacific Crossing from Kobe, Japan to Long Beach, California, featuring a maiden call to Wakayama, Japan. The sailing will also include sea days with bespoke, curated onboard entertainment programs. Setting sail from March through April 2025, Seabourn Quest's 2025 spring Asia cruises range from 14 to 34 days with options to combine voyages for a comprehensive exploration of Asia. It takes in the northernmost and southernmost islands of Japan and a "Pacific Passage: Golden Week to Glacier Bay" 20-day voyage departing in April 2025. In fall 2025, Seabourn Quest will return to Japan for the iconic autumn landscapes. Between September and November 2025, the ship will embark on four sailings, ranging from 12 to 41 days, visiting more than 20 destinations across Japan's four main islands. Maiden calls for Seabourn Quest include Akita, with its hot springs and samurai districts; Ishinomaki, Niigata, and Wakayama.

Luxury line Seabourn has announced a new program of immersive itineraries on Seabourn Quest as the ship explores Australia & New Zealand, the South Pacific, Hawaii and the Panama Canal. From December 2025 to April 2026. Seabourn Quest will sail a total of 22 itineraries with 46 destinations across more than a dozen countries. It includes a new series of 10-day voyages sailing roundtrip from Papeete (Tahiti) that explores French Polynesia. Itineraries range from 10 to 48 days, including a 19-day Panama Canal Passage from Long Beach, Calif., to Miami; and 15-day voyages in Australia and New Zealand. Highlights include extended stays in Napier in New Zealand, Honolulu and Kona in Hawaii, Puerto Vallarta in Mexico, and Cartagena on the Caribbean coast of Colombia. Itinerary highlights from the season include: Australia & New Zealand –Seabourn Quest will sail on a series of 15-day departures visiting 16 destinations in Australia and New Zealand, featuring overnights in Cairns and Melbourne. South Pacific & Polynesia – After Australia and New Zealand, Seabourn Quest will island hop to the island nations of Fiji, Tonga, and the Cook Islands before arriving in French Polynesia where she will sail for the first time on three new 10-day Bora Bora & Tahitian Nights Explorer voyages. Panama Canal – Seabourn Quest will sail from Long Beach to Miami on a 19-day voyage departing April 7, 2026, with a transit through the historic Panama Canal. The voyage includes visits to Puntarenas, Costa Rica, with access to the Monteverde Reserve; and Cartagena, Colombia. Seabourn Quest is equipped with SpaceX's Starlink onboard Wi-Fi connectivity.

Luxury line Seabourn is not waiting for normality to return to the Red Sea region. The cruise line has scrapped a Red Sea transit planned for spring 2025 aboard Seabourn Encore. This change will result in the Carnival Corp cruise brand sailing to the US for the first time ever. The original 2025 itinerary westbound from Asia to Europe has now been shelved. Instead it will head eastbound from Singapore with its first Panama transit and US port calls. The new voyage will make 36 port calls in 18 countries. It will call on the US west coast, Hawaii, and Miami. There will be extended calls in Tokyo, Puerto Vallarta, and Cartagena. The cruise segments will range from 7- 25 days and can be combined for a sailing of up to 53 days. They include the 14-day Southeast Asia & Japan, from Singapore to Kobe, Japan, a 19-day Panama Canal cruise from Long Beach to Miami and a 25-day Japan & Hawaiian Islands transpacific crossing. The new itineraries are now open for booking.

Seabourn has today kicked off its 2024 Alaska cruise season aboard Seabourn Odyssey departing from Vancouver. The cruise season is a landmark one as it marks Seabourn Odyssey's final season with the cruise line. Seabourn Odyssey will sail on 12 seven-day voyages through August 2024, sailing northbound or southbound between Vancouver and Juneau. Each seven-day Alaska cruise can also be combined to create a longer 14-day round-trip Vancouver voyage. The ship will also offer two 10-day Alaska Fjord Odyssey itineraries, as well as one 11-day Inside Passage & Alaska Fjords voyage, scheduled round trip from Vancouver in June. In addition, guests may choose from a number of land tours through Seabourn's popular Ventures by Seabourn program, featuring optional guided kayak and Zodiac tours. The ship will complete its final season with a 22-day Farewell Voyage, traveling through Alaska before crossing the Pacific to Japan. "While Seabourn will continue sailing to Alaska in the future, this upcoming season marks the final journeys of Seabourn Odyssey to the Great Land,” said Natalya Leahy, president of Seabourn. Luxury line Seabourn has completed the installation of Starlink cruise ship Wi-Fi across its fleet. SpaceX's Starlink operates Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellite tech. The upgraded technology provides faster, more reliable service where Starlink's services are available. "Following the positive feedback received from our guests, we are thrilled to share that both our ocean and expedition ships now feature Starlink cruise ship Wi-Fi,” said Natalya Leahy, president of Seabourn. Our guests can now choose to connect or disconnect as they wish." Starlink cruise ship Wi-Fi is now available on Seabourn's two new purpose-built ultra-luxury expedition ships, Seabourn Venture and Seabourn Pursuit as well as its ocean ships. Additionally, select ocean and expedition voyages qualify for Seabourn's latest promotion, "The Sail of the Year Event", which offers up to 25% off select Seabourn ultra-luxury ocean and expedition voyages. Seabourn has unveiled its expedition cruises lineup for 2025-2026. Expedition ships Seabourn Venture and Seabourn Pursuit will sail over 40 voyages to the polar regions, the Amazon, the Kimberley region in Australia, the South Pacific, the Northwest Passage, and more. All 2025 and 2026 expedition voyages are now on sale. The season features new experiences including the Torngat Mountains National Park in Labrador, Canadian Arctic, a night safari in the Amazon and scuba diving in Fiji. "These voyages will deliver many unforgettable 'Seabourn Moments' to our guests as we take them closer to the wonders of the world,” said Natalya Leahy, president of Seabourn. Between May 2025 and March 2026, Seabourn Venture will operate 21 voyages, ranging from eight to 28 days from the Arctic to Antarctica. Venture will offer experiences throughout Svalbard, Iceland and Greenland, the Northwest Passage, and south to Antarctica. From late March 2025, Seabourn Pursuit will sail 20 unique expedition cruises ranging from 10 to 20 days. It kicks off in the South Pacific, before heading to Australia's Kimberley region. Seabourn Pursuit will then make its way back across the Pacific to Antarctica, South Georgia and the Falkland Islands. The ships are also equipped with enhanced Wi-Fi connectivity using SpaceX’s Starlink. Expedition activities are organised and led by a 24-person expedition team of scientists, scholars and naturalists.

 

The ultra-luxury line will celebrate same-day U.S. arrival with "A Toast on Both Coasts" in Seattle and Miami on September 29, 2023

  Seabourn, the leader in ultra-luxury voyages and expedition travel, is set to raise a glass for "A Toast On Both Coasts" and celebrate the first time that both of the line's two new ultra-luxury purpose-built expedition ships, Seabourn Venture and Seabourn Pursuit, will be in the continental U.S. on the same day on Friday, September 29, 2023.     The brand-new ultra-luxury ship, Seabourn Pursuit, which launched on August 12, made its maiden arrival in the U.S. in Miami on the morning of September 29. Meanwhile, Seabourn Venture, which launched in July 2022, is arrived in the continental U.S. for the first time in Seattle that same morning.   "A Toast on Both Coasts" will commemorate Seabourn's two-vessel milestone in a style all its own with celebratory events unfolding on each ship at once. A triumphant moment will be a "virtual toast" for team members on both ships, traveling Seabourn guests, travel advisors, media, and invited dignitaries to clink glasses from the far corners of the country.   "The same-day arrival of our two ultra-luxury, purpose-built expedition ships in the U.S. is a very symbolic celebration of the dream and vision we have coming to life. 'A Toast on Both Coasts' is a testament to the hard work of our teams and a toast to all of our extraordinary guests who will fulfill their out of ordinary adventure dreams on board our state-of-the-art expedition ships."   A New Season for Seabourn's Expedition Vessels in Antarctica, South Pacific the Kimberley and Beyond Seabourn Pursuit will depart Miami on September 30 for a 10-day voyage exploring destinations throughout the Caribbean. On October 10, the ship will arrive in Barbados to begin its expedition journeys, taking guests to remote corners of the globe. Seabourn Pursuit will head south for expeditions exploring coastal South America, the Amazon, and Antarctica into late March 2024. Following its inaugural Antarctic season, the ship will head across the islands of the South Pacific and eventually to Australia, which will be the start of the line's first exploration of the Kimberley region in the Northern Territory and Western Australia between June and August 2024. The iconic Kimberley, with its red sandstone gorges, rivers, waterfalls, wildlife, and Aboriginal life and history, is the ideal setting for a truly, world-class expedition experience. In addition to the Kimberley, Seabourn Pursuit will visit Papua New Guinea, West Papua, Indonesia, and sail across the South Pacific between Chile and Melanesia between March and October 2024.   Sister ship Seabourn Venture will head down the West Coast of the Americas before reaching Antarctica, where it will explore the "White Continent" between November 2023 and February 2024.
