TTC Tour Brands Launches Trafalgar Small Group Tours and Expands Insight Vacations Small Group Collection

New collection gives travel agents 57 Small Group Tours across Trafalgar and Insight Vacations, creating more opportunities to match travellers with the right guided travel experience

TTC Tour Brands is expanding its Small Group Tour offering with the launch of 22 new Trafalgar Small Group Tours and the expansion of Insight Vacations’ existing Small Group Tour collection to 35 itineraries, giving travel agents access to 57 Small Group Tours across two of the industry’s most trusted guided travel brands.

Designed for a maximum of 18 guests, the new Trafalgar Small Group Tours represent an important evolution for the brand, bringing together everything travellers love about Trafalgar with the added benefits of a smaller group format. The collection has been created for travellers seeking deeper local connection, greater flexibility and access to experiences that larger groups simply cannot enjoy.

Small group travel is one of the biggest opportunities we’re seeing in guided touring right now and this collection is our answer to that,” said Melissa DaSilva, Deputy CEO and Chief Sales Officer, TTC Tour Brands. “These trips are designed for travellers who want to get even closer to the people, places and cultures that make a destination unique. For agents, it creates new opportunities to match clients with the right travel style while continuing to benefit from the trusted brands, experiences and service TTC Tour Brands is known for.”

For Trafalgar, Small Group Tours are not a reinvention of the brand, but an extension of what it already does exceptionally well. Built around Trafalgar’s decades-long relationships in destinations around the world, the collection unlocks experiences, venues and local connections that are often only possible in a smaller group setting.

Guests will continue to enjoy the Trafalgar hallmarks that have made the brand a leader in guided travel, including expert Travel Directors, Be My Guest experiences and MAKE TRAVEL MATTERTM Experiences, while benefiting from a more personal group dynamic and the ability to move more easily through destinations.

We continue to see strong demand from travellers seeking more personal and immersive ways to explore the world,” said Kelly Jackson, Managing Director & SVP Sales EMEA, TTC Tour Brands. “What makes this launch particularly exciting is the opportunity to bring Trafalgar’s incredible local relationships, storytelling and guest experience into a smaller group format. For our travel agent partners, it provides another compelling way to sell a brand their clients already know and trust, while offering access to experiences that simply aren’t possible at larger group sizes.”

The product was intentionally developed through extensive customer research and trade consultation. Itineraries may incorporate smaller vehicles, private transportation, local rail journeys and unique accommodations selected for their character and connection to the destination. The result is a collection designed to deliver a more personal, connected and enriching travel experience without sacrificing the confidence and convenience of guided touring.

Alongside the Trafalgar launch, Insight Vacations has expanded its Small Group Tour collection to 35 itineraries, providing travellers with even more choice across TTC Tour Brands’ portfolio of guided travel experiences.

New itinerary highlights include:

  • Trafalgar’s San Sebastian and Beyond – Guests enjoy an exclusive Be My Guest experience at Getaria’s family-owned San Antón grill house, open only to guests travelling on Trafalgar Small Group Tours. Travellers meet the family behind the restaurant, discover the day’s fresh catch from the Cantabrian coast and learn traditional grilling techniques passed down through generations.

  • Trafalgar’s Wild Encounters of Borneo – Guests enjoy a conversation and guided visit with Dr. Wong, Founder and CEO of the Bornean Sun Bear Conservation Centre, gaining unique insight into the conservation work taking place to protect one of the world’s most vulnerable species.

  • Insight Vacations’ Wonders of Japan – Guests meet a Bonsai Master Apprentice for a hands-on exploration of bonsai artistry, techniques and philosophy, offering a deeper connection to Japanese culture and tradition.

With 57 Small Group Tours now available across Trafalgar and Insight Vacations, travel agents have greater flexibility than ever to match clients with the right guided travel experience, whether they are seeking locally connected exploration with Trafalgar or premium touring with Insight Vacations.
