Silver travellers spending more on Latin America trips

Luxury tour specialist Totally Latin America (TLA), has reported a significant surge in client spending and trip lengths as post-pandemic travel resumes.

TLA’s latest report reveals their clientele, primarily consisting of US travelers over the age of 50, have an overwhelming urge to explore destinations like Argentina, Patagonia, Chile, and the Galapagos Islands.

It finds they are now spending 30% more on their trips compared to pre-pandemic levels.

The average length of trips has grown by 25% since the restart of travel.

Silver travelers are now seeking extended trips, to fully immerse in Latin America culture.

“We are thrilled to witness the enthusiasm and increased spending among silver travelers,” said Paul Jones, founder and CEO of Totally Latin America.

“Their desire to indulge in luxury tour experiences in Latin America is truly inspiring.”

It offers luxury tours to destinations including Argentina, Patagonia, Chile, and the Galapagos Islands with expertise in crafting bespoke itineraries.
