£1,000 to find an agency branch
Flight Centre staff are being offered £1,000 to recommend new locations for the expanding agency chain.
The incentive to encourage staff to refer new store locations comes as the Australian company seeks to expand it 76-branch UK network by 20 shops.
The scheme is to run for a year to encourage employees to watch out for suitable locations throughout the country.
Managing director Chris Galanty said: “We have a growth target to open up to 20 new stores by the end of June 2006 and is increasingly difficult to find good locations with reasonable rents. We hope with an additional 550 people looking out for locations that we will achieve our growth target.
“It is also important for us as a company to involve staff in our expansion programme and for people to feel that they are helping to shape the future of their company and where we should be doing business”.
