ABTA announces two new Board appointments
TUI’s commercial and business development director Richard Sofer and dnata Travel Europe CEO John Bevan have joined ABTA’s Board.
Chairman Noel Josephides said he was delighted to welcome them both.
He added: "They both bring a wealth of experience in the travel industry. Their expertise and guidance will be invaluable in helping us to safeguard and promote the interests of our members and their customers."
Bevan (below right) has spent 25 years in the travel industry, having previously worked for several companies including lastminute.com where he was UK vice president.
He has also previously been a member of the ABTA board, from 2006 to 2008.
