Accor opens ibis in Saigon
Accor has added three new development hotels to its pipeline in Vietnam that will see 16 new hotels opened by 2015.
The announcement follows the opening of Accor’s first economy hotel in Vietnam: the 160-room ibis Saigon South.
The ibis joins the luxury Sofitel, upscale MGallery, midscale Novotel and Mercure brands in Vietnam.
"With ibis Saigon South, we now have 13 hotels in the network and a comprehensive hotel selection for international and domestic guests to choose from," said Patrick Basset, vice president for Accor Vietnam, the Philippines, South Korea and Japan.
