Accor signs franchise deals for three UK hotels
AccorHotels has announced signings for three hotels in the UK – at London Heathrow, London Luton and in Birmingham.
The deals are part of the group’s plan to increase the number of rooms in the UK and Ireland by over 30% by 2017.
It has signed a franchise agreement with Vivek Chadha Nine Heathrow Ventures Limited for the Novotel Heathrow Bath Road, a 159-room hotel.
Meanwhile, its economy hotel brand, ibis, has signed franchise agreements for two new hotels.
The 62-room ibis Styles Birmingham, Hagley Road, formally known as The Portland Hotel, is due to open in the Spring following an extensive renovation.
Meanwhile, a 120-room ibis BUDGET London Luton Airport is under construction and is due to open in summer 2017.
