Active Hotels listed as Top UK employer by Sunday Times

Cambridge, 8 March 2005: Active Hotels, one of Europe’s leading online hotel reservations providers, has been listed for the second year running as one of the Sunday Times ‘Top 100 Best Small Companies to Work For’ in the UK. The Sunday Times ‘100 Best Small Companies to Work For’ is the largest ever study of small company workplaces and was open to all companies with between 50 and 249 employees. Active Hotels, the only Cambridge-based company to make the listing, prides itself on a motivating, fun and well-balanced employee environment. The company’s motto is to ‘recruit, retain and develop great people’. This was well reflected in the Sunday Times survey, with 84% of employees feeling they can ‘make a difference to the company’, 86% excited about the direction of the company and 74% not feeling their work interferes with home life.
