Adelaide agents wins trip of a lifetime
Micheal Puttner from RAA Travel in Adelaide is now planning his dream holiday after being named the winner of Star Alliances’ ’10th Anniversary – Business Class Trip of a Lifetime Competition’.
First prize in the national promotion was two Star Alliance Round World business class tickets, with Puttner free to choose up to 15 stopovers in exotic destinations across the planet.
The ‘Trip of a Lifetime’ competition was part of worldwide celebrations marking Star Alliance’s 10th Anniversary, and a way for the alliance to thank travel agents for their vital role in its success. To be in the running for the business-class trip, agents had to book any Star Alliance member carrier ticket between 1 August 2007 and 26 October 2007.
The following 10 runners up won $200 Red Balloon gift certificates:
Sean Simmons, Visy Travel, Melbourne
Michelle Stander, Jetset Tours Rose Bay, Sydney
Natalie Perry, Travelworld Willetton, Willetton, WA
Lis Jones, Flight Centre/Penrith, Sydney
Jillian Balch, Pinpoint Travel Group, Sydney
Sylvia Truong, Pinpoint Travel Group, Sydney
Debbie Fleischer, Reho Travel, Sydney
Leonie Spencer, Jetset Travel, Mandurah, WA
Tania Norman, Oliver Travel, Adelaide
Julia Maroulis, MSC Travel, Melbourn
ePuttner should have no problem finding interesting places to visit on the Star Alliance network … with the addition this month of Air China and Shanghai Airlines, the alliance’s 19 members now offer more than 17,000 daily flights to 897 destinations in 160 countries.
