Advantage stages first luxury travel conference
Around 120 people attended the first Advantage Luxury Connoisseur Conference at the soon-to-be opened ME London hotel.
The day brought together 45 Advantage members specialising in luxury travel, now known within the association as ‘luxury connoisseurs’,15 destination management companies (DMCs) representing over 25 countries, nine luxury tour operators and 20 luxury hotels.
Luxury Connoisseur was created by Advantage to help members best serve the needs of their high-end clients by providing access and working relationships with key upmarket travel providers.
Members at the conference had the opportunity to network with partners and each participated in around 40 appointments across the day.
Jenny Bullock, supplier and membership manager at Advantage Hotels, said: "Now that we have established a significant network of preferred DMCs it’s great to bring them together for the first time with our Luxury Connoisseurs, hotel partners and selected luxury tour operators to ensure members have all the resources they need to make the most of this lucrative and wide-ranging market."
