Advantage unveils location for 2009 conference
Advantage Travel Centres will hold its conference on home soil this year.
The event will take place on September 19-20 at the Radisson Edwardian Hotel, Heathrow.
For 2010, the group has confirmed that its conference will be held overseas in May, with a venue to be announced shortly.
Chief executive John McEwan said: “Whilst the majority of Advantage members recognise the importance of our annual conference, we also appreciate that in this current economic climate there will be a strong imperative for them to stay close to their businesses.
“It is important to stress that we do still see huge value in holding an overseas event and we will be going abroad in 2010.â€
Advantage said most delegates for the 2009 conference will arrive on Friday September 18.
Business sessions will begin at 10am on Saturday September 19 and the conference will finish at 5pm on Sunday September 20.
Like last year, the conference will be a combined leisure and business travel event.
