Agents offered better training to sell cruise holidays

Monday, 10 Feb, 2014 0

CLIA is introducing new training courses to help travel agents boost their sales of cruise holidays.

Included are two new river cruising courses within its Learning Academy covering European and worldwide cruising.

With more than 20 river cruise ships launching this year, CLIA is offering agents a quarterly River Cruise Bulletin to keep agents abreast of the latest news from CLIA member cruise lines.

Director Andy Harmer said: "Together with introducing brand new modules, we have revitalised all other content to ensure our courses continue to reflect recent developments within our industry.

"With a record number of cruise holidays taken last year, there really are great opportunities for agents to increase their business and knowledge is key."
