Agoda and Mastercard team up to modernise travel rewards
Agoda has joined forces with Mastercard to launch a new modular travel redemption solution to boost travel benefits to cardholders.
This collaboration integrates Agoda’s travel inventory into Mastercard’s Global Redemption Suite.
The partnership enables banks connected to Mastercard’s rewards ecosystem to embed the Agoda-powered travel redemption solution into their own loyalty programs.
Points can be redeemed instantly and applied directly to Agoda’s accommodations and flights.
For cardholders, it offers a simplified travel rewards experience.
By connecting banks with Agoda’s inventory via Mastercard’s network, it delivers more flexibility and choice, Agoda says.
“Across the industry, many loyalty points still go unused because customers don’t see enough real value or flexibility in how they redeem. We’re helping banks close that value gap with travel rewards that are immediate, intuitive, and genuinely useful,” said Damien Pfirsch, Chief Commercial Officer at Agoda.
The two companies say this approach sets a new standard for choice and relevance in travel rewards.
