Agoda teams up with Indonesia’s Archipelago International
Asia travel platform Agoda recently announced a new partnership with Archipelago International, to strengthen the latter’s regional presence across Asia.
Through the collaboration, 193 of Archipelago International’s properties across urban business hotels, leisure resorts, and boutique experiences are now available on Agoda platform.
They are curated via a newly launched Archipelago Flagship Store on Agoda.
The dedicated brand hub will make it easier to search and book stays across Archipelago hotels across multiple brands.
This rising interest in travel to Indonesia is driven by travellers from South Korea with a 36% growth in searches, followed by Malaysia, Singapore and Australia.
Bali, Jakarta, and Batam Island remain the most sought-after destinations, while emerging destinations include Labuan Bajo and Medan, both showing high growth rates in demand.
“Indonesia remains an important focus for Agoda’s growth, and this partnership aligns with that direction. The launch of the Archipelago Flagship Store leverages our technology and scale to better connect our large Asian customer base,” said Andrew Smith, SVP of Supply at Agoda.
Unlike standard listings, Archipelago’s Flagship Store will act as a dedicated hub, showcasing a range of properties.
This marks the first collaboration between Agoda and Archipelago International.
The partnership aims to accelerate conversion across multiple source markets.
