Air Astana resumes Atyrau to Istanbul service
Kazakhstan carrier Air Astana will restart direct flights between Atyrau in western Kazakhstan and Istanbul on 26 April 2022.
The service had been suspended since March 2021 due to Covid restrictions.
Flights using Airbus A320neo jets will be run on Tuesdays and Fridays, with the departure from Atyrau at 08.10 and arrival in Istanbul at 10.20.
The return flight from Istanbul will depart at 11:20, with arrival in Atyrau at 17:05.
Round-trip tickets including all taxes and fees start from US$375.70 in Economy class.
Atyrau will become the third city in Kazakhstan to serve Istanbul with Air Astana, with flights from Almaty increasing to 10 times a week from 17 April
Flights from Nur-Sultan become daily from 25 April.
