Air Austral trims fares
SYDNEY – Air Austral has launched new promotional fares to the Indian Ocean for booking until September 15, commissionable at nine percent on the gross fares.
The fares to Reunion, Mauritius, Seychelles, Madagascar, South Africa and Mayotte are valid for travel from now until March 31, 2010 (except the blackout period of Nov 16, 2009 – Jan 31, 2010) with a maximum stay of two months.
Air Austral also offers an Indian Ocean pass to allow island hopping from one island to the next.
The fares are available on Air Austral’s bi-weekly flights to Johannesburg. 

The airline is also increasing its flights to the Seychelles to twice a week from October 28.
Examples of the new fares, including taxes, are Sydney to Reunion – AUD1204.70;
 Sydney to Mauritius – AUD1304.40; and
Sydney to Seychelles – AUD1883.70. 

Other fares from Melbourne and Brisbane are available.
