Air hostess accused of smuggling rat in her undies
An air hostess is allegedly taking American Airlines to court after being accused of smuggling a rat in her underwear onto a plane.
Louann Giambattista was searched when the plane landed after another hostess and the pilot claimed there was a lump in her clothes which ‘looked like a live pet’, said MSN. They believe they saw her feeding a rat mid-flight.
However, when Ms Giambattista was thoroughly searched no rodents were found.
The air hostess has now accused American Airlines of making it difficult to board international flights, while refusing to let her work on domestic ones and embarrassing her in front of colleagues.
American Airlines has apparently refused to comment on her claims saying it will respond in court.
