Air India introduces AI booking tool
Air India has rolled out an Artificial Intelligence powered booking tool which aims to streamline the booking process.
‘eZ Booking’ enables customers to complete bookings much quicker, the airline says.
It allows customers to text or converse with an AI agent and share their intended travel itinerary.
Currently it is available only for Maharaja Club loyalty members.
Air India says it ‘helps customers book their ticket by eliminating a number of commands and without having to navigate multiple screens.’
It aims to provide an ‘enhanced and seamless experience.’
“This is an industry-leading initiative and we are taking early steps in deploying the emerging ‘Agentic AI’ capabilities across all our digital footprint,” said Satya Ramaswamy, Chief Digital and Technology Officer, Air India.
