Thursday, 17 Jul, 2019 0

Air India has unveiled a new upgrade scheme allowing everyone to enjoy a few extra perks for a fee.

Called ‘Get Up Front’ it allows passengers to upgrade on domestic flights without any prior restrictions subject to availability.

This means passengers originally booked in the cheapest seats and even those travelling on non-revenue tickets such as award tickets or companion fares can upgrade.

The Get Up Front’ offer is priced based on distance flown.

It costs INR4,500 for flights of up to 750 km and INR6,000 for longer journeys plus 12% GST.

It is valid on upgrades from economy to business class and business to first class on applicable flights.
