Air India set to make big Boeing737 Max order
Air India owner Tata Group is expected to soon finalise a deal for up to 150 Boeing737 Max jets.
It would be the first major aircraft order since Tata Group took over.
Air India is expected to take 50 of the 737 Max aircraft initially with further options.
Boeing won the order as it has promised Air India it will deliver the 50 planes by March 2023.
Airbus is still reportedly in the running for a separate order from Air India.
