Airbnb looks to boost MENA market with Arabic language website and app

Sunday, 24 May, 2019 0

Airbnb has launched an Arabic version of its website and app, as it seeks to boost its presence across the MENA region.

In the year through 2019 Airbnb recorded 63% year-on-year growth in UAE visitors.

All features on the web platform and iOS and Android apps are localized in Arabic including listing pages.

"People from across the region have been using Airbnb since it was founded ten years ago to book travel experiences. We want to create a true sense of belonging for them by ensuring they can do so in their native language," said Hadi Moussa, Airbnb’s regional manager, Middle East & Africa.

"We want to inspire more Arabic speaking travelers to explore their favourite destinations through authentic, local stays and experiences on the Airbnb platform."
