Many members of the aviation and travel industry will have been saddened to hear of the passing last week of Garry Court, former Air New Zealand GM for Australia.

As his close friend and colleague Paul Glaser said, “Garry made a wonderful contribution to the travel industry during his career with Air NZ, rising from a Sales rep to the Executive Suite and was an old style hands on leader.”

“He was respected for his enthusiasm, initiative and strait shooting and led by example.”

“His passing makes me feel so very vulnerable.”

A Memorial service for Garry is being held tomorrow Tuesday 20th November at St. Stephens Church, 211 Mowbray Road, Willoughby (cnr Sydney Street & Mowbray Road) at 12 noon.

Friends and colleagues are also invited to 4 Clare Place, Killarney Heights to raise a glass and celebrate Garry’s life.

No flowers thank you.

A donation to Bill Walsh Cancer Research Laboratory at North Shore Hospital would be appreciated.

Our thoughts are with Mignon and Garry’s family.
