Airline to create child-free zone on flights
Malaysia Airlines has confirmed it is to ban children from the top deck of its A380 aircraft so that adults won’t be disturbed by youngsters.
The carrier’s first double-decker super-jumbo flights with child-free areas will be available on the London to Kuala Lumpur route. Child-free areas will be added on flights to Sydney from September.
The airline will impose a minimum age limit of 12 years for passengers sitting upstairs, where there are 70 economy seats and 66 business class seats.
MAS said the decision followed numerous complaints from passengers about noisy children.
