AirPlus secure deal with BA
British Airways has signed a deal with travel payment solution company AirPlus International to allow its customers to book and pay for flights through ba.com.
Customers can also change their booking, print their boarding card on selected routes and check-in online for their flight.
The agreement between BA and AirPlus follows customer demand as increasing numbers of travellers switch to online booking.
BA senior manager global distribution Deborah Dickens said it was “delighted” to offer AirPlus customers the ability to pay online.
“An increasing number of travellers around the world choose to buy tickets online and BA aims to enhance the customer experience of using ba.com and its associated technology at every opportunity,” she said.
