Airports disrupted by ‘Siberian’ Spring
Outlying airports are being hit by the high winds and snow affecting flights as a ‘Siberian’ Spring hits the UK.
Newquay airport and the Scilly Isles, Lands End airport, Jersey and Guernsey airport are all reporting severe disruption to services due to the weather.
The Met office has issued a weather warning for most of the week as snow and strong winds spread across the UK.
Eastern parts of England are expected to be hit hardest with extreme cold weather and icy conditions.
