Alaska Airlines expands Icelandair codeshare pact
Alaska Airlines is doubling down on its long standing codeshare agreement with Icelandair.
The codeshare expansion comes as Alaska Airlines announced its launch date for flights to Reykjavik.
The airline starts Iceland flights from Seattle on May 28. 2026.
The codeshare pact enables customers to book single journeys incorporating flights on both airlines from both airlines on a single reservation.
It enables onward journeys across Europe for Alaska Airlines passengers and access to Alaska Air’s West Coast flight network for Icelandair customers.
“For 15 years, Alaska and Icelandair have worked together to connect our guests,” said Brett Catlin, VP of loyalty, alliances, and sales at Alaska Airlines.
“We’re building on that partnership with more opportunities and seamless connectivity guests have come to expect.”
