AllTheRooms taps HotelPlanner for group travel expansion

Accommodations search engine AllTheRooms.com has joined hands with HotelPlanner to tap the lucrative group travel market.
 
Under the partnership HotelPlanner’s inventory will be added as an option for group bookings at large vacation rentals and traditional hotels.
 
It marks a landmark enhancement for large volume individual booking options not usually available through traditional online travel websites.
 
"AllTheRooms.com has become a tremendous resource for travelers of every type because it has the world’s largest inventory of accommodations," said Tim Hentschel, CEO of HotelPlanner.
 
"By adding HotelPlanner’s specialized group sales offerings, AllTheRooms.com can now offer group inventory at the lowest rates by connecting customers directly with hotel group sales managers."
 
AllTheRooms aggregates data from every accommodation segment including vacation rental providers such as Airbnb, HomeAway, and VRBO, OTAs and dozens of other regional sites, individual listings and hostels.

HotelPlanner has offices in the US, Europe and Asia and offers group hotel booking services to about 3,000 groups per day.
