Amadeus expands commercial team
Amadeus has expanded its dedicated commercial team in response to growing interest in corporate travel management solutions.
James Grant becomes manager, global partners; Marc Wise, manager, national sales (corporate); and Gregor Falck, regional partner manager UK & Ireland.
Grant joins from HRG where he was responsible for selling-in and implementing products from the group’s Intellect Suite. He will be responsible for supporting global TMC partners and working with their sales and marketing teams to expand implementation and adoption of the technology within corporate accounts.
Wise moves from Worldspan where he was a corporate account manager EMEA.
Falck, who moves from Amadeus in South Africa, will support UK partners in the introduction of Amadeus e-Travel Management.
Sales director Julian Mills said: “Recently we have noted increasing interest in the usage and adoption of corporate travel management technology.
“Our successful strategy of working hand-in-hand with TMCs to equip them with tools to meet their corporate clients’ online needs will continue.
These three key strategic appointments are part of our strategy to enhance our mutually beneficial business partnerships and grow the adoption of Amadeus e-Travel Management.
“This in turn will assist corporations in achieving the cost reductions and efficiency targets that enable them to enjoy a rapid return on investment.â€
