Amadeus signs over 70 hotel brands to ‘Best Available Rate’
Amadeus claims to have signed up 76 hotel brands to its ‘Best Available Rate’ programme since it was launched in February.
Hotels must guarantee to supply rates that are the same or lower than those available through other distribution systems, branded websites or call centres.
The technology company said that a sample of seven of the largest hotel chains representing over 6,000 properties saw their bookings through the GDS rise by between 10%-30% following participation in the programme.
