America West has new flights
America West announced it would start daily nonstop service between its Las Vegas hub and four new destinations starting 1 June. The four are nonstop flights from Las Vegas to these cities: Fresno and San Luis Obispo, both in California; Medford, Ore.; and Calgary, Canada. With these destinations, America West has added 11 new routes to its Las Vegas flight schedule in 2004. America West now has 117 daily departures from its Las Vegas hub to 52 nonstop destinations. The airline says that is more nonstop destinations than any other carrier in Las Vegas. The airline says passengers are often impressed with the wide range of services not normally found on low-cost carriers such as advance seat assignments and an award-winning frequent flyer program.
