American adds new Europe flights from Philadelphia
American Airlines has unveiled new Europe flights for next summer.
The airline is ramping up its transatlantic schedule out of Philadelphia (PHL).
It will fly to Copenhagen, Naples, and Nice.
American will also launch new service between Dallas-Fort Worth and Barcelona, and bring back flights between Chicago and Venice, Italy
“American is thrilled to add three new European destinations,” said Brian Znotins, American’s SVP of Network and Schedule Planning.
“New service from Philadelphia and expanded transatlantic services will offer customers convenient one-stop access to Europe.”
American will offer 15 daily nonstop flights from PHL to 14 European destinations next summer.
This is its largest Europe flight schedule from Philly since 2019.
It also has increased service to more than 70 domestic destinations from PHL.
Starting May 6, American will launch service between PHL and Nice, the gateway to the French Riviera.
Flights will start in time for the Cannes film festival.
Starting June 5, American will debut a new service to Naples, the airline’s fourth Italian destination.
Copenhagen flights begin on June 6.
American also recently expanded more Europe flights to year-round to Lisbon, Madrid and Rome.
