An Encore for Wynn in Macau

Monday, 21 Apr, 2010 0

MACAU – The loveliest hotel in the world is not in London, Paris, Tokyo, New York or San Francisco. It’s in Macau.

Who says so?

Casino developer Steve Wynn, of course, who was bestowing the world’s greatest little hotel tag on Encore, his new, all-suites boutique hotel adjacent to sister resort Wynn Macau.

“Encore is a unique destination with its own repertoire of suites, dining and shopping,” according to the Wynn PR team.

Wynn, chairman and CEO of Wynn Resorts, said, “Our goal with Encore is to broaden the appeal of Macau as a tourist destination and open the most beautiful hotel in the world.”

Encore has 414 suites and villas – which might be stretching Wynn’s description of the hotel as ““boutique” – plus a crystal lobby bar, steam room, spa, and a shopping arcade led by Cartier, Chanel and Piaget limited edition products.
