ANM launches classified travel ads
Associated New Media (ANM), the digital publishing division of Associated Newspapers Ltd (ANL), has announced the launch of an online classified advertising section on ThisisTravel.co.uk.
The new section, called ‘travelAds’, enables travel companies to publicise details of their holidays and services to This is Travel’s audience of holiday makers aged between 25 and 50.
Users will be able to search online for holiday options in the UK and abroad, including villas, cottages, flights, hotels, cruises, and package holidays. Users will be able to contact the advertiser directly either by email, telephone or online to find out further information and make a booking.
Commenting on launch, Alex Saint, Channel Manager, This is Travel, said: “We believe it is the first significant classified advertising offering online within the travel sector and builds on the huge success of travel classified advertising within Associated Newspaper’s four titles.
He continued: “This is Travel’s extensive content written by the site’s editorial team and taken from Associated Newspapers enables users to research their holiday thoroughly from the very first stages. travelAds is the perfect compliment to this process by giving users access to a huge number of travel providers through whom they can find and book their holiday quickly and easily.”
