Another airport in trouble over Ryanair fees
A Danish airport has been told it cannot continue to offer Ryanair preferential rates because it is breaking the law.
The Danish Civil Aviation Authority has told Aarhus Airport that it must charge Ryanair the standard airport fee instead of a reduced rate. Henrik Gravensen, from the finance department of the Danish Civil Aviation Authority, told TravelMole that Aarhus Airport is breaking the law by not charging Ryanair the fee which is set by the authority.
Mr Gravensen said the authority told the airport in February that it had until the end of September to change its fees, but it has still not altered the fee.
Ryanair was not available for comment.
