ANZ’s special Hong Kong rate marks first birthday on route

Sunday, 26 Oct, 2007 0

Air New Zealand is marking the first anniversary of the launch of London-Hong Kong flights with a special rate of £374.

The economy fare includes taxes and valid for mid-week travel Monday to Thursday for outbound travel during November, returning before December 5.

The route is Air New Zealand’s second out of Heathrow, giving passengers the chance to fly to New Zealand twice daily.

The Hong Kong route also made it the only airline to fully circumnavigate the globe out of London.

Passengers can fly out east via Hong Kong and home via Los Angeles, or vice versa, giving the maximum advantage in terms of baggage allowance and time difference, according to the airline.
