Artelibre: All set for the Bologna Book Fair

Bologna is not only the “city of art” but also the “city of art books”; This Festival is one of a kind, a cultural event, book fair, and social exhibition all in one. Everyone from the general public “book-buyer” to publishing houses and art-book devotees alike will be at this exciting event to take part in the many activities sure to excite every type of interest.

An entire 5 days of events will be taking place, beginning with an opening ceremony, and then filled with presentations, conferences, workshops, shows and more, all touching upon the many subjects the festival will be focusing upon, such as: antique to contemporaneous art, design and architecture, fashion, furniture, cinema and photography, graphic design, children’s books, antiquarian books, and much more.

The venue for the book fair is the Palazzo di Re Enzo e del Podesta. It takes place from September 21th – 24th, 2007. Opening hours: Thu 7pm-10pm; Fri-Sun 10am-8.30pm; Mon 10am-5.30pm
